The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Business Support Specialist to join the team in Miami, FL

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs operations management and compliance, Business Support services and traveler assistance for multiple delegated business activities such as Enterprise Services, Site Services, Finance & Business, Security & Fire Protection and Supplier Management

  • Implements HR processes for international local hire employees (i.e. onboarding, leave services and employment termination) and provides guidance and assistance for international assignee with routine issues or concerns

  • Performs facility operations and assists with non-real-property planning and project administration, and facilities provisioning

  • Coordinates office and property accounting, invoicing, cost analysis, tax or other business objectives through collecting, processing and distributing cost or financial data

  • Implements organization policies, programs, processes and procedures for the purpose of safeguarding people, property, information and the environment while ensuring compliance with applicable government and company security and fire regulations (e.g., business preparedness, country evacuation planning and crisis management, secure badge renewals)

  • Supports procurement agent at local site in negotiating vendor costs and in coordinating and organizing activities

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience  establishing relationships and maintaining strong on-going communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors and carriers

  • 3+ years of experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders (i.e. business partner, customer, Finance, suppliers) in planning and executing projects

  • 3+ years of experience solving problems and generating alternatives

  • 3+ years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Associate’s Degree or Higher

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role coordinating across multiple stakeholders

  • Experience using and applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery

  • Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

  • Experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements and an applied understanding of Lean practices

  • Experience in a role requiring strategic planning

  • Interpersonal skills, teamwork, and customer focus are essential to be successful in the role

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
