The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced Quality Systems Specialist to join the Delivery Center Quality group located in Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

• Initiates, prepares, and maintains aircraft logbooks as required per COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 (USN) and TO. 00-20-1 (USAF).
• Tracks Inspections and Life Limited parts IAW applicable service guidance.
• Prepares aircraft inventory records, reviews technical directives and initiates appropriate action to ensure all required changes, inspections have been accomplished and documented.
• Ensures appropriate aircraft and technical directive records are maintained.
• Maintains a log of aircraft and engine flight hours and landings.
• Enters flight discrepancies into Aircraft Fault Reporting System (AFRS)
• Coordinates aircraft flight activities between Production and Flight Operations.
• Performs Engine Accounting functions per NAVAIRINST13700.15.
• Maintains CAD/PAD records per NAVAIR 11-100-1.1
• Demonstrates knowledge of technical orders and technical publications with emphasis on USN IETMS and USAF T.O. 1F-15()-6 requirements.
• Maintains aircraft build records in accordance with Records & Information Management system.
• Reviews / writes internal company processes (BPI’s) and recommends process improvements.
• Accomplishes work under strict deadlines.
• Up to 10% travel required

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• 3+ years of aerospace or manufacturing experience
• Military logs and records keeping experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• USAF Plans, Scheduling and Documentation, Familiarity with T.O. 00-20-1 and AFI 21-101 and aircraft specific -6 Technical Orders.
• USN Logbooks and Records, Familiarity with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2(), Periodic Maintenance Information Cards (PMIC) and the Maintenance, Diagnostics and Repair Tool (MDART) system.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
