Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) currently seeks a Senior Human Resources (HR) Manager to support the Missile and Weapons Systems (MWS) division and the Huntsville site. This role will work with site leadership, division and functional HR teams to build tactical plans to enable the business in achieving site, program and enterprise objectives. The successful candidate will focus on strategic execution, diversity equity and inclusion as well as integration of major business/programs and functions across the Huntsville site.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Implement MWS strategic people priorities as well as develop holistic functional talent solutions customized to local, program, and division needs

  • Lead a team of amazing HR professionals responsible for collaborating with all HR teammates at the site

  • Partner with Site Business and Functional Leaders for emerging staffing needs including recruiting, retention and employee movement across the site

  • Develop and implement a results-driven diversity and inclusion action plan to increase representation for the MWS division and the Huntsville site

  • Leads integration and collaboration across the Huntsville site including culture, diversity, engagement, emergency preparedness plans, threat management and safety in partnership with the various functions and business units

  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and functional HR partners to understand strategies to ensure alignment, reduce redundancy and achieve results across the business and site

  • Serve as liaison in conjunction with Boeing Global Engagement for external engagements, university recruiting efforts and local partnerships

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Hybrid work arrangements will be available.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior business leaders

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

  • Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

  • 5+ years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance

  • 3+ years of experience leading direct reports

  • Experience managing and successfully leading HR strategy, process development and implementation across matrixed teams in a large company

  • Experience attracting, managing, and developing a high performing team

  • Results-oriented, focused and able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously

Summary pay range: $114,660 - $212,940
