Job Description

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst for Airplane Systems Integration - Engineering Operations team in Everett, WA.
This position is assigned to AP Systems Integration – Engineering Operations team to provide metrics and analytics support to AP Systems Engineering Leadership and AP Systems Design Center teams to define requirements, establish business planning processes, and develop KPIs that align with One Boeing Production System and Engineering priorities.


This position allows hybrid work, the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite.


Position Responsibilities:
•    Works with AP systems leadership teams to define requirements for predictive metrics and analysis regarding the engineering value stream
•    Assist in development of new metrics and actionable information to improve productivity, increase quality, and lower cost
•    Contributes to data analyses for purpose of opportunity identification and prioritization and recommends process improvement projects
•    Provides visibility and awareness of data analytics processes and tools and lead implementation of data analytic platforms within design center engineering teams
•    Provide project management of team's schedules and deliverables; Supports, leads, and delegates the project team's responsibilities and tasks through all stages of the project life cycle.
•    Engineering process domain knowledge preferred
•    Ability to identify and create qualitative or quantitative measures of success and failure.
•    Ability to select the key parameters and develop standards to monitor progress, provide updates of performance, and plot trends over time.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years' of experience in collecting data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to management.
  • 3 or more years' of experience with data analytics and metric development.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Experience in data and/or predictive analytics.
  • Experience in a role that required articulating data analysis summaries verbally or via PowerPoint presentations to various audience including senior management.
  • Expertise in program management and dashboarding tools (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Tableau, Cognos etc.).
  • Experience developing and managing strong relationships with internal partners and stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability and desire to work in a team environment.
