Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Senior Integrated Planning and Scheduling Specialists (Level 4) to join our 777-9 program development team located in the Everett, WA.

We are looking for a dynamic candidate with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong analytical skills to be a part of our Business Operations Program Planning & Control (PP&C) Organization. We play a key role in providing integrated plans, schedules and change management control systems across the airplane value stream. This opportunity will provide you a solid understanding of the Boeing Production System and offer the foundational knowledge needed to succeed in almost every area of the company. Integrated Scheduling requires the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build positive relationships, while analyzing critical data. The Integrated Schedule is at the foundation of any successful Boeing program and this key skill offers the unique opportunity to learn the business from the inside out.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leads, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains plans and schedules for very complex projects, programs, and change driven activities.

  • Leads in studies/analysis and planning efforts within and/or across programs/projects, organizations or business units to determine impacts, constraints, and plans involving product development, process improvement, or program initiatives.

  • Provides analysis and product development initiatives for manufacturing, program and support organizations.

  • Develops and establishes lead time requirements and identifies production constraints.

  • Supports program planning requests for the development of new and derivative products.

  • Leads, directs, facilitates and ensures integration of project/program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers and partners.

  • Develops project plans for realigning work statement to support production requirements and meet company strategy for work placement.

  • Provides coaching, mentoring and leadership to lower level employees.

  • Provides subject matter expertise in the development, implementation and training of processes and tools.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of experience in managing project schedules and managing programs and projects

  • 5+ years of experience working with databases, data collection and preparation, and data interpretation

  • 5+ years of experience performing in a finance, scheduling, industrial engineering, change management, strategy, business support services, program management, project management or business operations role

  • 5+ years of experience in using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience using Integrated Scheduling tools such as Open Plan Professional, Milestones

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
