Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a Mid-Level Procurement Agent (Level 3) to support the Supply Chain In-Service team in Seal Beach, California, Seattle or Tukwila, WA.

Positions Responsibilities:

• Communicate supplier in service performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

• Manage suppliers to the negotiated contractual documents. 

• Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management. 

• Manages supplier readiness for entry into service.

• Manages repair turnaround time and spares, works with supplier on corrective action plans where needed. Initiates and executes supplier recovery and improvement activities. 

• Integrates with production procurement team to ensure in service issues are taken into account for contracting strategies and leverage. 

• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. 

• Contributes to the improvement of existing processes, including the deployment of strategic supplier management and procurement strategies.

This position is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed locations.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• 5+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

• Must be willing to travel domestically needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a manufacturing, assembly and/or aerospace environment.

• 5+ years working in customer service or with airline customers

Typical Experience:

Typically, 6 or more years' related work experience or military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
