The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Procurement Agent (Level 4) to join our Supply Chain Supplier Performance team located in Seal Beach, CA, Seattle or Tukwila, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Communicate supplier in service performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

  • Manage suppliers to the negotiated contractual documents. 

  • Conduct risk, issues and opportunities management. 

  • Manage supplier readiness for entry into service.

  • Manage repair turnaround time and spares, works with supplier on corrective action plans where needed.

  • Initiate and execute supplier recovery and improvement activities. 

  • Integrate with production procurement team to ensure in service issues are considered for contracting strategies and leverage. 

  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals. 

  • Contribute to the improvement of existing processes, including the deployment of strategic supplier management and procurement strategies.

This position is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed locations.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “ US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • 8+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.

  • 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • Must be willing to travel domestically as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, assembly and/or aerospace environment.

  • 8+ years working in customer service or with airline customers

Typical Education/ Experience:
Typically, 10 or more years' related work experience or military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: $102,000-$140,400
