The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Planner to join the Executive Transport team in either Oklahoma City, OK or San Antonio, TX.

As a Manufacturing Planner, you will review aerospace designs for producibility, create procurement plans, create installation plans, solve technical issues, learn the process from design to installation on aircraft, and identify process improvements and risks. This position performs production engineering related work for military aircraft. You must be able to work in a cross-functional work environment including engineering, quality, product support, supplier management, and program management. This position will report to the Executive Transport Production Engineering Manager in Oklahoma City.

This job requires San Antonio shipside support, must be available in person for the duration of the mod or a Domestic Temporary Assignment (DTA) to San Antonio, TX for a minimum of 1 year.

The program has a first and second shift and may require you to vary your shift to support aircraft needs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Building technical data packages for use by suppliers

  • Developing and implementing manufacturing plans

  • Resolving technical problems that would significantly affect performance, cost, or schedule

  • Analyzing design/build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigating alternative solutions to meet producibility requirements

  • Creating installation planning and supporting installation planning shipside in San Antonio

  • Support team performance by participating in process/tool improvement projects and work under a lead to support timely delivery of engineering release and manufacturing deliverables

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years Installation Planning experience

  • 3+ years of experience in an electrical manufacturing planning role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active U.S. Top Secret Clearance

  • CATIA experience preferred

  • Experience designing and developing scale drawings using CATIA

  • Aircraft experience preferred

  • 5 years Installation Planning Experience

  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project)

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).
