Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Supplier Program Management Specialist to join our Executive Transport team in San Antonio, Texas.

Come join Boeing Commercial Derivative Airplanes and the unique opportunity to work on the next generation’s Executive Transport Aircraft. At Boeing, our Mid-Level Procurement Agent will use their expertise to support supply chain activities at the Boeing Company. In joining this program, you will be part of an outstanding team of supply chain experts making history as we shape this one of a kind next generation Aircraft.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities.
• Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.
• Conducts and guides supplier assessments.
• Develops current and projected work statement.
• Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans.
• Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
• Develops and executes work movement plans.

This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and does not require applicants to live in San Antonio, Texas.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• More than 5 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance.
• More than 5 years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action.
• More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
• More than 5 years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $110,500 - $152,100
