The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Emergent Service Representative to join our team located in Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Creates, updates and manages tooling project plans, including cost estimation, scheduling, resource forecasting, vendor coordination and account management.
  • Provides project visibility to management.
  • Oversees compliance to the tool order and the drawing release process.
  • Creates and or approves and releases tooling product definition data.
  • Processes, writes and validates tooling product orders.
  • Performs inventory control, bids with vendors and negotiations best buys.
  • Consults with customers on service offerings.
  • Ensures compliance to established company policies, practices and procedures.
  • Works under general direction.
  • Interprets engineering requirements to create, update, and manage emergent manufacturing project plans. (Includes estimating, scheduling, resource forecasting, coordination, and account management).
  • Understands, interprets, and summarizes complex GD&T (Geometric Dimensions & Tolerances) in an efficient manner to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Communicates effectively with the shop floor operations team, customers, and management.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience working with and/or interpreting engineering data or engineering drawings
  • 5+ years of experience in work instruction and/or manufacturing planning development
  • 5+ years of experience in Machining
  • 5+ years of experience in Sub-Assemblies
  • 5+ years of experience working with engineering and design software (i.e. CAD/3D packages (UG/NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, CREO, etc.)?

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher
  • Experience with programming CNC machines

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
