The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Contract Administration Specialist to join their organization and support the Corporate Contracts Liaison Group team in Seattle, WA.

This role will support the Commercial Item Transfers at Price Corporate Liaison and Customer in efforts to ensure quality and consistency is performed in regards to information available, information required, and alternatives or opportunities associated thereto. The goal of the Corporate Contracts Liaison Group is to accomplish the efforts associated to Commercial Items Transfer at Price in accordance with internal and external expectations and obligations.  This includes but is not limited to coordination with individual Programs, employees, a bridging of communication between both Defense and Commercial, and a facilitation of Boeing's representation of commerciality or price reasonableness to the Customer.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides overarching support in the coordination between both Commercial and Defense, as well as the obligations associated to the Contact, FAR and DFAR

  • Exercises appropriate signature authority, oversees and participates in the proposal and negotiation of agreements as an unbiased Third Party, utilizing approved contract terms and conditions

  • Supports the research, drafting and recommendation of proposal and contractual language supporting the product or service, delivery processes and document reviews

  • Guides contracting best practices and pro forma in regards to Commercial Item Transfers at Price

  • Oversees performance of due diligence and integration activities associated thereto and in accordance with contracting policies and practices

  • Consults on auditor requests and provides interpretation of findings, identifies data for audit activities and oversees identification of issues, development of corrective actions and implementation of solutions

  • Assesses process risks and control adequacy

  • Directs the development and documentation of guidance related to new and updated contractual regulatory requirements and command media

  • Oversees monitoring/reconciliation and ensures compliance in the performance of contractual and business commitments, company policies, laws and regulations

  • Consults on special requests for approval and exception, interpretation of contractual letters, provision of contract performance status and performance of contract closeout activities

  • Ensures strategic alignment and partnership with other internal functional disciplines

  • Trains and mentors other Contracts employees

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed locations.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships

  • 5+ years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts in programs and multiple contract types, such as: general terms agreements, nondisclosure agreements, purchase and sale agreements

  • 5+ years of experience in proposal development and negotiating government contracts

  • 5+ years of experience working independently and in teams using analytical, collaboration, communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).                                                                

Relocation:
