Boeing is looking for a Senior Project Management Specialist. In this role the candidate would be responsible for the integration, support, and digital transformation of Software Program Management processes, tools, and metrics across the Software Enterprise.  The candidate will be establishing and leading teams; developing project plans and deliverables; and coordinating all aspects of projects in the development and implementation of Program Management processes, requirements, tools, testing, metrics, templates, guidelines, communications, and training.  This position is based out of Everett, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Program Management defines requirements, processes, and tools that provide organizational efficiency and achieve established technical, quality, schedule, cost, and business objectives enabling program performance, economic profit, and customer satisfaction throughout the program life cycle.
  • Manages cross-organizational or business projects, develops processes; coordinates, defines and understands functional software requirements, and utilizes software applications in accordance with accepted program management processes.
  • Provides independent reviews and guidance to for deploying common PM processes, tools, and requirements across the enterprise.
  • Provides Oversight, and management responsibility (including performance mgmt. & reporting) for a portfolio of small to medium size projects in support of organizational goals and objectives.
  • Identifies key stakeholder project specific objectives and requirements.
  • Effectively communicates performance to plan and across stakeholder groups
  • Develops solutions to complex problems that require self-initiative, ingenuity, and innovation.
  • Demonstrate proficiency and utilize program / project management software applications.
  • Serves as a spokesperson for the PM Processes and Tools, provide training and act as an advisor to management and customers

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10 or more years’ of experience in project management, program planning, business operations or industrial engineering.
  • 10 or more years’ experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.
  • 10 or more years’ experience in advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in business or project management.
  • Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical personnel at all organization levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership for driving issue resolution and mitigating technical risk.
  • Experience working with certification related activities and/or certification authorities (FAA, EASA, etc)

Typical Education/Experience: 
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.)
