The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst -Earned Value Management (EVM) professional to work in the following locations: Oklahoma City, OK, Arlington, VA, Berkeley, MO, El Segundo, CA, Huntsville, AL, Mesa, AZ, Ridley Park, PA, Tukwila, WA. This role will require the selected candidate to travel and to attend meetings at our Oklahoma City site. If the selected candidate does not live in the immediate area, travel will be required to the location. The position is in direct support of Boeing Defense Programs and the Department of Defense Acquisition which support our Nation’s warfighters. In this position you will support at all levels of the Program with challenging and rewarding work assignments to include, but not limited to, Integrated Baseline Reviews, monthly reporting, and EVM system surveillance and compliance.  

As a Senior Financial Analyst, EVM you are required to collaboration with teammates across BDS for consistent process interpretation and communication, including new guidance and process updates.  In addition, it requires evaluating program process issues and recommending solutions, as well as providing training / coaching to CAMs and analysts.  The selected candidate will work as an integral member of a multi-site group and represent Home Office when contributing to BDS-wide initiatives. Occasional travel is required, as dictated by program and core needs. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, self-motivated, and able to work on independent assignments. The selected candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, including excellent communication skills (written/verbal) and a demonstrated ability to work with senior business managers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating DCMA surveillance activities

  • Reviewing and analyzing DCMA EVM Compliance Metric (DECM) results

  • Coordinating corrective actions to ensure closure

  • Conducting internal program surveillance reviews

  • Performing data quality verification reviews

  • Providing and interpreting guidance to ensure process compliance

  • Reviewing Integrated Performance Management Plans (IPMPs)

  • Responding to program process questions

  • Ensuring delivery of EVM training

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position will work in the Oklahoma City, OK area on occasion.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience managing cost and schedule performance using Earned-Value Management (EVM) principles

  • Experience communicating with government contractors

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent communication skills (written/verbal) and a demonstrated ability to work with senior business managers

  • Ability to train the workforce in EVM principles

  • Ability to demonstrate organizational, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:
