Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for Experienced Quality Production Specialists to join our Quality Material Review Board Designee (MRBD) team located in Renton, WA.

The MRBD team supports our Renton airplane programs by performing a review of non-conformance records and generating orders. In this role, one will be expected to collaborate and communicate with internal and external partners, track, respond, and provide communication to support the program. This role involves developing and administering the quality system that ensures and leads the integrity of company products and services related to 737 aircraft.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and validates product non-conformance and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.

  • Performs analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements or government regulations.

  • Applies knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.  

  • Trains and mentors fellow employees in the Quality Management System.

  • Reviews and approves disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes.

  • Works under general direction.

  • Independently develop, modify and document Non-conformance Orders (NCO’s)

  • Negotiate concurrence, obtain commitments for taking preventive and corrective action, prioritize quality activities and ensure problem resolution.

  • Guide validation of configuration management, quality procedures and material review policies to deliver the products.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with REDARS.

  • 3+ years of experience in quality and/or manufacturing data systems (CMES, QAR).

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • 3+ years of experience with Quality and/or Manufacturing processes and organization.

  • Must be able to work variable shifts, weekends and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with systematic problem-solving skills.

  • Experience performing Quality MRB.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
