Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Quality Systems Specialist - Program Management (Level 3) to join the 747/767 Quality Business Operations team in Wichita, KS.  

Position Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development and integration of programs, quality improvement plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals
  • Coordinates the commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies
  • Collects, organizes and provides data according to established processes within the quality management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
  • Monitors and tracks execution of Quality improvement plans and communicates status to all project participants.
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
  • Ensures that all project control systems within the scope of the project are in place and integrates project data for decision makers
  • Supports design of Business Intelligence dashboards, metrics and reports utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives.
  • Combines basic programming, SQL skills, best practices and business expertise to deliver efficient and scalable Business Intelligence solutions to improve business productivity and business outcomes
  • Provides data for management review and tracking performance to plan.
  • Develops, coordinates and assesses architecture of meeting content and leadership briefings.
  • Conducts research and analyzes data from multiple sources.
  • Creates, edits and maintains electronic and written communications relative to multiple departments and business operations.
  • Verbally communicates a wide variety of information to multiple audiences.
  • Processes incoming and outgoing communication and correspondence to ensure proper dissemination of information.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • 3+ years of experience working across multiple business units and interfacing with key stakeholders.
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools.
  • 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • 3+ years of experience with data analysis and/or data mining

  • Demonstrated strong data analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Demonstrated high level of dependability, interpersonal skills, initiative, adaptability, decision-making, and problem solving and organization skills.
  • Experience with QMS (Quality Management System).

Typical Education & Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

This position is for 1st shift.

Statement of Work

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.
