The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Contract Management Specialist to join their organization and support the contracts team in Tukwila, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for a high performer who is looking to gain diverse and valuable contracts experience. Position Responsibilities: Exercises appropriate signature authority, leads, and participates in negotiating and contracting for the licensing of intellectual property to support company strategies Leads the presentation and development of complex intellectual property related business solutions to preserve and expand the business Represents the company in external intellectual property negotiations to a diverse set of customers Prepares, negotiates, executes, interprets and administers legally binding contractual agreements of a complex nature regarding data rights for The Boeing Company Leads coordination and partnership with other internal functional disciplines Summarizes complex intellectual property issues, and leads development of creative solutions and coordination of contractual risk mitigation
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in Tukwila, WA. The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s Degree or higher 3+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships 3+ years of experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), and other government regulations
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite Strong critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.) Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
