Boeing Commercial Airlines has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced, Quality Systems Specialist - Material Review Records (MRR) to join our Supplier Quality team located in Everett, WA

The team oversees incoming non-conformances from suppliers as in Material Review Records (MRR).  The team works with suppliers, Boeing Engineers, Supplier Quality and Supply Chain Representatives.  The team works in a fast pace environment where safety and quality is our priority.  There are also opportunities with project improvements.

Position Responsibilities

  • Reviews proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development.

  • Prepares and maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed.

  • Analyzes process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of problems.

  • Participates with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation.

  • Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics, to continuously improve process capability.

  • Conducts quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions, and develops a coordinated response for management review and approval.

  • Conducts hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements and reports results to management.

  • Analyzes data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts and equipment.

  • Works under general direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience)

  • 3+ years of experience in Nonconformance Processing.

  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS).

  • 3+ years of experience working with statistical data analysis and presenting the results.

  • 3+ years of experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventative Action, Root Cause Corrective Actions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have current or previous Material Review Board (MRB) experience/certification.

  • 3+ years of experience with computer-based supply systems.

  • 3+ years of experience with MS Office Suite.

  • 3+ years of experience in a role that required strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills.

Typical Education & Experience   

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Relocation

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Shift Work Statement

This position is for 2nd shift

Statement of Work:

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite.
