Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Integrated Planning & Scheduling Manager, for the Phantom Works Advanced Space Portfolio. As a First Line Leader, you’ll be at one of Boeing’s growing sites in Kent, WA with support in El Segundo, CA. There is opportunity for a 9/80 work schedule depending on your program. 

In this position, you will lead and guide a team of diverse professionals to develop accurate, integrated, executable plans and schedules to drive positive program performance. In this position, you will be involved in development and operations in support of some of the most important national defense contracts.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite based out of Kent, WA with travel to El Segundo, CA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employee groups engaged primarily within the disciplines of Integrated Planning and Scheduling, including Program Planning, Program Scheduling and Baseline/Change Management
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes related to IP&S and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFAR), Earned Value Management (EVM) program requirements
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees
  • Manages the allocated budget and headcount

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) Ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post Start.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience leading complex projects with large project teams
  • 5+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) applying Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) requirements
  • 5+ years of experience collaborating and working across teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active Top Secret or Top Secret SCI Clearance
  • Experience managing integrated schedules encompassing design, manufacturing, equipment and resource requirements
  • Experience managing program schedules, change management, program planning, project management, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, or Production Control
  • Experience using Open Plan Professional (OPP)
  • Experience creating and networking complex schedules in Microsoft Project
