The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), organization is seeking a proactive Senior Product Data Management Specialist to join the team in Everett, WA.

This position is in Engineering Operations (Eng Ops) team within BCA-Product Development (PD). Eng Ops is a new team responsible for enabling early integration and development of engineering architectures, processes, systems and data for future new airplane products and derivatives. The candidate will be part of a growing team leading PD Design Practice and Solution kit consumption, Engineering Metrics & Analysis, Risks Issues Opportunities process, Design Reviews, Engineering Maturity Integration, Integration of program plans, Engineering Development Excellence and establishing DSRB (Developmental Safety Review Board). The candidate will integrate across diverse cross-functional teams, and directly support project and PD leadership.

This position is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in Everett, WA

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads activities to define and document product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management, and engineering processes.
  • Develops, documents and implements plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control.
  • Tracks and reports data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; conducts audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements.
  • Develops certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes.
  • Leads the development plans, schedules and resource commitments to develop, test and deploy process improvements and changes.
  • Works under minimal direction.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Do you have an Associate’s degree or higher, Technical certificate or degree or 2 or more years of equivalent technical experience?

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace

Typical Education/Experience: 
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.)
