Boeing’s Engineering Test and Technology Human Resources organization is currently seeking an Experienced Human Resources Generalist to support the Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) business, located in Oklahoma City, OK.

The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) will be responsible for partnering with senior executives and managers within BDS Engineering. This position requires strategic thinking, strong written and oral communication skills, talent management experience, collaboration, independent judgment and the ability to influence others.

An effective candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation ensuring alignment to organization objectives and consistently approaches assignments with flexibility, creativity and a positive attitude

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective consultative skills/talent management solutions that drive technical innovation and quality results, partnering with leaders to integrate functional, human resource and organizational change management strategies and action plans to improve operational effectiveness, leadership, workforce planning, engagement and talent acquisition

  • Support key HR initiatives and partner with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives

  • Collaborate with managers/employees to drive the development of people strategies, action plans and metrics to assess progress/impact

  • Use business knowledge to make recommendations and proposals on key functional strategies, develops long and short term strategies involving policies (e.g., Diversity, Employee Engagement and Functional Excellence) and embeds people plans in the operating rhythm of the organization

  • Accountable for the quality and delivery of HR products and services by engaging other HR resources as appropriate; influencing process improvement by working with others; utilizing conflict resolution techniques, and making the necessary changes to mitigate risk and ensure employee perspectives are considered

  • Coach all employee levels including management and executive leaders on behaviors and techniques to achieve leadership excellence and culture to performance outcomes

  • Deploy and administer HR programs, policies, practices and processes

  • Develop integrated HR initiatives and solutions to advance organizational objectives; effectively partners across HR organizations to deliver high quality, seamlessly integrated operational HR support for the business, the employees and managers

  • Contribute to the development of a culture of equity, diversity and inclusion where employee experience is at the center of HR service delivery

  • Analyze staffing and diversity strategy performance and develop corrective solutions

  • Utilize HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand effectiveness of support provided

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes

  • 3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding

  • 3+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions

  • 3+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience staffing defense programs – attracting, engaging and retaining critical talent

  • Human Resources certification

  • 1+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives

  • 1+ years of experience leading teams either formally or informally in a Human Resources role

  • Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrated final product

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, high-impact communication style

Typical Education & Experience:
Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $60,480 - $112,320
