Boeing’s Human Resources (HR) organization is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to support our Missile and Weapon Systems (MWS) Engineering organization, located in Huntsville, Alabama in a hybrid capacity.

The candidate will be responsible for partnering with senior leaders, managers and individual contributors across MWS Engineering. Our HR community is composed of incredible, diverse HR professionals who are driven by understanding and advocating for employees and are passionate around mentoring leaders. This individual will provide high-value, coordinated consultation and integrated solutions to tackle business challenges, proactively mitigate risks and ensure our business goals and objectives deliver repeatable outcomes throughout our Engineering organization.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Experience with HR strategies and action plans, policies, procedures, and industry trends

  • Experience developing solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation

  • Experience creating and articulating data-driven HR solutions to senior leaders

  • Experience developing winning staffing strategies and action plans

  • Track record of establishing strong relationships through trust, credibility, expertise and business acumen

  • Track record of leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to achieve results in an environment of ambiguity

  • Experience leading and mentoring HR teammates

  • High degree of Emotional Intelligence

  • Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to be flexible and adjust direction when needed

  • Capable and comfortable partnering alongside individuals with different views, statuses and cultural backgrounds to enhance positive solutions


Position Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with MWS Engineering leadership to create Talent Strategies that support Business Strategies

  • Develop and deploy integrated Human Resources services, processes and data analytics that drive business results for the MWS Engineering organization, including:

    • Talent acquisition – staffing strategies and action plans

    • Engagement, development and retention initiatives

    • Performance management and compensation

    • Succession Planning and pipeline development

    • Consultation on a range of HR-related deliverables

    • Champion a culture of diversity and inclusion
       

  • Enable informed, data-driven business decisions by providing robust workforce analytics, trends and consultation

  • Establish strong, collaborative relationships with business leadership and colleagues across HR, including our Centers of Excellence (CoEs), based on trust, credibility, expertise and business acumen

  • Partner closely with MWS Engineering LT and other key stakeholders to develop a deep, diverse talent pipeline of current and future leaders

  • Accountable for the quality and delivery of HR products and services by engaging other HR resources and centers of excellence as appropriate; influencing process improvement by working with others

  • Coach all employee levels including management and executive leaders on behaviors and techniques to achieve leadership excellence and culture-to-performance outcomes

  • Contribute to the development of a culture of equity, diversity and inclusion where employee experience is at the center of HR service delivery

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes

  • 5+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement talent strategies that meet organization strategies

  • 5+ years of experience executing HR action plans and managing HR projects

  • 5+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior business/functional leaders

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Advanced degree preferred in Business, Human Resource Management, Organization Development, Industrial Organizational Psychology, or related field

  • Human Resources certification(s)

  • Active US Secret clearance

  • Experience with HRIS platforms and technology, with preferred application experience in Workday

  • HR experience in aerospace and/or defense industry

  • Experience navigating a matrixed organization

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

Typical Education & Experience:
Typically 15 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $95,130 - $176,670
