The Boeing Company is seeking an Mid Level Government & Capital Property Specialist to join Boeing Research & Technology based out of either El Segundo CA, or Huntsville AL.  

This person will acts as key focal for interacting with custodians on complex issues related to current property system status as well as managing the acquisition processes, property records, property movement, physical inventory, property utilization and disposition for all BT&E and BR&T Capital property.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assists with development of policies associated with program property management processes for company or government property and acts as key focal for interacting with contracting organizations and customers on complex issues related to current property system status.
• Provides expertise to enhance and manage information by utilizing off-the-shelf software or Boeing system tools to manage and communicate property information and to ensure accountability for property from initial acquisition to final disposition.
• Develops procedures and guidelines associated with establishing acquisition processes, property records, property movement, physical inventory, maintenance processes, property utilization and consumption and disposition and contract closeout for company or government property.
• Reviews records for accuracy and reviews processes for compliance to establish procedures and guidelines.
• Leads the development and implementation of tools, processes and procedures.
• Develops and delivers training and provides guidance to less experienced employees.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor degree or higher
• 3+ years of experience in property management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Masters Degree or higher
• Experience leading teams to development through process management

Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
