Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supply Chain is seeking a Contracts Procurement Manager (level K) to join the team in Everett, WA supporting Materials & Standards procurement.

This leader will manage a team of contracts procurement agents who have responsibility for all contracting activities for Composites, Chemicals, Regulated Materials & Transparencies. They will work in close partnership with operations, category management & finance.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.

  • Manages, develops, and motivates Procurement Agent employees performing activities related to committing company resources to purchase goods and services, developing supplier strategies, development of bid packages, proposal analysis, and development of contracts.

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools.

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years crafting and leading contracts.

  • 3+ years formally or informally leading a team.

  • 5+ years in Procurement and Supply Chain Processes.

  • Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions or initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related degree.

  • 5+ years leading supplier contract negotiations including terms and conditions and pricing, and interpreting and enforcing contracts.

  • 5+ years working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes.

  • 3+ years in project management including interfacing with suppliers, partnerships, and/or customers.

  • 3+ years in a role requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range: $118,150 – $162,630
