Boeing Digital Solutions and Analytics is currently looking for a Senior System Design and Integration Specialist to join their team in Seattle, WA or Denver, CO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services and the Global Safety Initiative.

A successful candidate will be able to apply their technical skills, problem solving skills and effective customer service skills ensuring they can implement Boeing’s Safety Initiative commitments.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain services used in application implementation.

  • Able to solve setup issues and find solutions.

  • Develop and maintain data integration components such as SQL queries, stored procedures, data extraction and cleansing, and integration with system front end components in accordance to data mapping and extraction requirements.

  • Building and maintaining tools, solutions, Script system tasks and micro services associated with deployment and Google operations platform.

  • Create and update documentation pertaining to deployments.

  • Coordinate directly with business users and business analyst to best understand and analyze configuration and business specifications.

  • Work with development teams to architect, design, build, and implement application and its integrations.

  • Support development on resolving system defects, acting as liaison, and developing solutions.

  • Provide technical assistance to solve and resolve integration errors.

  • Installing customized software systems and all necessary components.

  • Understand the unique operational needs of each customer implementation.

  • Ensure that the implementation and integration meet business requirements and goals.

  • Customizing software systems based on defined needs and specifications.

  • Collect data and other information required to customize and configure software systems.

  • Performing data wrangling and cleaning to convert data into its desired specification.

  • Demonstrate the ability to recognize and process multiple source types; translate/culminate necessary information for tasks within standard framework.

  • Acquire a basic understanding of the ARINC-717 and/or

  • Detailed data verification and issue resolution before suspect data is submitted.

  • Build reports and/or data extracts to support RCA, business analysis and trouble shooting.

  • Work with the analysts, system designers, and business owners to assist in the end to end testing phase.

  • Minimizing the impact of implementation on existing processes.

  • Design integration solutions and documents.

  • Provide inputs for automating deployment processes as needed.

  • Recommend the implementation, integration products and services by carrying out proper researches.

  • Discovering patterns and trends through mapped data.

  • Edit, manipulate and maintain aeronautical data using custom and 3rd party software.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):          

  • 6+ years of experience in an application integration

  • Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent work experience

  • Proficiency with database programming languages such as SQL, and MonetDB.

  • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python.

  • Familiarity with database tools such as TablePlus or PyCharm; Integration Architecture, and standard methodologies.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with good sense of customer service.

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Colorado summary pay range: Min: $120,700– Max: $166,140
