Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Materials Management Analyst to join our dynamic team in El Segundo, California.

This position will support the dispatching and follow up on Stockroom kits and coordination of parts and materials for flight and non-flight thru the receiving process to the manufacturing floor. Tracking and attention to detail skills are critical.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and schedules on time delivery of complex parts, commodities following established procedures.
  • Assists management to prioritize and assign tasks to the work group.
  • Leads and organizes audits and other forms of analysis of information from multiple sources to determine accuracy relative to delivery schedules, inventories, requirements, etc.
  • Reconciles discrepancies in information to mitigate or minimize disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Maintains and updates information systems that distribute materials management information to required recipients.
  • Coordinates complex flows of materials management related information between and among internal and external recipients.
  • Coordinates improvements to information management tools and processes.
  • Interprets information to identify problems and supply chain trends or patterns.
  • Coordinates with required organizations to resolve complex problems affecting the supply chain.
  • Releases order to fabrication or assembly organizations to initiate manufacture of products.
  • Works under minimal direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 5 years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
  • More than 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment.
  • More than 5 years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • More than 5 years of experience working with spacecraft/aircraft factory manufacturing, quality, and inventory/production control processes and tools (planning, MRP, BOMs, etc.)
  • More than 5 years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams.

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Summary pay range: $98,600 - $135,720
