Corporate (CORP) is seeking an Entry Level Manufacturing Scheduler to support our team in Everett, WA

The Boeing Manufacturing Team is seeking an Entry Level Manufacturing Scheduler based out of Everett, Washington.

Creates and distributes master schedules products with guidance from experienced scheduler.  Utilizes experience and knowledge of manufacturing operating plans, translates those plans into appropriate master schedule inputs and outputs.  Edits and validates schedule data.  Analyzes (lead time away) impact of rate changes on factory positions, railcars, sea vans, and tool requirements. Provides requirements to tooling, facilities and manufacturing, etc.  Creates reports associated with the standard revision process, and publishes reports to the appropriate location for customer access to the data.  Has performed data collection and plotting of data (trend, line graphs, etc.)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Acquires awareness of scheduling systems, tools and tasks.
  • Limited use and application of basic sequence and relationships while under the direction of other analyst.
  • Acquires awareness of how to interpret the customer product delivery sequence (firing order), explain information, and answer basic customer questions.
  • Remains cognizant of the location of the products.
  • Distributes or communicates delivery sequence data to customers.
  • Limited awareness of scheduling processes, techniques and philosophies.
  • Exposed to manufacturing operating plans and schedule data.
  • Follows directions for routine work with close supervision of more experienced analyst.
  • Acquire basic knowledge of principles and practices associated with railcars, sea vans and tool requirements.
  • Acquire basic knowledge of principles and practices associated with tool and position requirements.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Prior project management or scheduling experience
  • 1 + year of experience performing detailed data analysis

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).
