Boeing has an opening for a (level 3/mid-level) Supply Chain Management Analyst in their Everett, WA office. This position in the Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC) will have responsibility across all airplane programs. This position will incorporate change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. This position in Materials Management (Supply Chain) methodologies will also ensure coordination in the Global Supply Chain.


 
Position Responsibilities:

  • Leverage supply chain knowledge with innovation and IT skills to drive improvements in supply chain reporting and business decision making.
  • Guides integrated product design/build teams by independently representing Supply Chain Management (SCM) plans and strategies to arrive at optimal solutions.
  • Leads cross-functional teams in the introduction of new tools and techniques.
  • Presents analysis of performance measurements to senior managers.
  • Investigates complex ordering conditions.
  • Develops and implements new ordering methodologies.
  • Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and governmental regulations.
  • Creates complex schedules.
  • Develops materials management estimates and schedules for new business proposals.
  • Identifies, analyzes, develops and implements best practices, processes and procedures for SCM.
  • Recommends changes to new or existing corporate and divisional policies.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ qualification)

  • More than 5 years of experience using the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
  • More than 5 years of experience in supply chain or materials management.
  • More than 5 years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment.
  • More than 5 years of experience with Material Requirements Planning, utilizing ERPLN, SAP or other similar MRP systems.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • More than 5 years of experience with scheduling experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment.
  • More than 5 years of experience with ERPLN, SAP or other similar MRP systems.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)
