Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Experienced Supply Chain Management Analyst (level 3) in Everett, WA for the Interiors Responsibility Center (IRC).

The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned. This position in Fulfillment will support both factory and supply chain priorities as well.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate may be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Incorporate change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.

  • Apply Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain.

  • Analyze complex material requirements.

  • Verify and incorporate Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan.

  • Determine part number attributes.

  • Initiate, coordinate and authorize release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability.

  • Ensure on-time delivery.

  • Document and resolve order delinquencies.

  • Report schedule adherence issues.

  • Develop and control inventory plans.

  • Optimize inventory levels.

  • Analyze and disposition excess inventories.

  • Initiate audits.

  • Develop and create schedules for products and services.

  • Assist in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals.

  • Implement and maintain process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance.

  • Work under general direction.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and supply chain personnel.

  • Develop and utilize communication tools and plans.

  • Identify, establish and maintain priorities for deliveries of products, services and data.

  • Communicate supplier performance status to programs, internal business partners, customers and all other stakeholders; with excellent verbal, reading, technical, and writing skills.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management Analysis or Materials Management Analysis.

  • 3+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications and Product).

  • 3+ years of experience working in a position where priorities changed frequently and Customer Service was critical to the team’s success.

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.

  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry.

  • 3+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing.

Typical Education/ Experience:

Typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).


Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
