Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for an Associate Fabrication Specialist (Level B) to support the Composite Fabrication Team based out of West Jordan, UT.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks

• Composite bagging and forming

• Composite drilling and bonding

• Tooling preparation

• Machine set up and operation

• Overhead crane operation

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience

• Ability to work any shift/weekends/nights/overtime as business conditions dictate

• Able to lift up to 35 lbs; Frequent lifting up to 10 lbs; Occasional carrying, lifting, pushing/pulling, walking, standing, balancing; Frequent reaching overhead and at or above shoulder; Frequent sitting; Frequent climbing

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience in a team environment

• Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience

• Ability to read and interpret electronic blue prints

• Demonstrated use of hand & machining tools

Typical Education/Experience: 
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).
