Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate Business Process Analyst to join our Aviation Safety team in Long Beach, CA. The chosen candidate is an enthusiastic, highly collaborative teammate with a passion for diving into details.  This individual will also have the skill and ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports engineers and other technical and non-technical staff with tasks related to the Continued Operational Safety Program (COSP) process

  • Helps develop, gather, and document basic technical data for company products

  • Processes technical information from airplane operators, maintainers, and other sources

  • Captures critical information and enters/maintains multiple databases and an internal server with accuracy and efficiency

  • Organizes data, prepares agendas, and facilitates meetings where technical information is exchanged

  • Creates and distributes weekly reports according to established schedules

  • Communicates critical information to internal and external customers in compliance with clearly defined requirements

  • Works under close supervision

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 1+ years’ experience working with Microsoft Office Suite

  • 1+ years of experience in the use of tools such as Microsoft Access to support data entry, data organization, and generate reports from data to support engineering and business analysis

  • 1+ years of experience and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Works well with others as well as independently

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
