The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Contract Management Specialist to join their organization and support the contracts team in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

This role will be acting as Team lead for the Fort Walton Beach Location. Position can be located in Ridley Park, PA, Hazelwood, MO, or Fort Walton Beach, FL.

Position Responsibilities:

• Exercises appropriate signature authority, leads, and participates in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies, financing and the licensing of intellectual property to support company strategies

• Leads the presentation and development of complex business solutions to preserve and expand the business

• Represents the company in external negotiations to a diverse set of customers

• Authority to prepare, negotiate, execute, interpret and administer legally binding contractual agreements of a complex nature for The Boeing Company

• Leads coordination and partnership with other internal functional disciplines

• Summarizes complex contractual issues, and leads development of creative solutions and coordination of contractual risk mitigation

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in one of the listed locations; Ridley Park, PA, Hazelwood, MO, Fort Walton Beach, FL.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher

• 5+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships

• 5+ years of experience in drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts

• Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner

• Strong analytical skills, demonstrate accuracy and timeliness during day-to-day conduct

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
