The Boeing Company is actively seeking a Lab Design and Engineering First Level Manager (Level K) at the Oklahoma City , OK site. The successful candidate will lead a team of multi-skill lab design engineers to gather requirements, define architecture, develop physical lab designs, and help integrate the lab build and verification activities.  The Lab Capability designs and maintains labs for B-52, AEW&C, AWACS, among others.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Gather and define system level requirements for Avionics and Mission systems

  • Perform design & analysis of Avionics and Mission systems, simulations, models & tools

  • Support design reviews, analyses, simulations and component / system testing to ensure delivery of products that meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations

  • Support troubleshooting of delivered product operational / service anomalies and incidents

  • Participate in new business development efforts

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry or equivalent experience.

  • 3 + years of experience in leading or managing engineering design projects.

  • 3+ years of experience integrating designs from multi-skill teams (electrical, mechanical, software).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Highly preferred: Current active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

  • Experience on commercial or military aircraft or platforms.

  • Experience designing electrical systems or architectures.

  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical work flows.

  • Experience or coursework with simulation and/or system/component modeling.
