The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mission Systems Integration & Test Engineer (Level 2) to join the F/A-18 Mission Systems Team located in St. Louis, MO.

This role will involve integration of aircraft avionics systems while working in collaborative environment utilizing SAFE (Scaled Agile Framework). The selected candidate will have the opportunity to play a key role in developing and maintaining requirements to support customer needs, architecting/designing new capabilities for the F/A-18 and verifying requirements and proper function using simulation and real hardware & software.

Position Responsibilities:

Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
Designs hardware, software and interface specifications.
Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product life cycle.
Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Export Control:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

Currently possess a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
Experience developing or integrating avionics or mission systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

2+ years of professional experience with avionics and/or electronics integration.
2+ years of experience with requirements development through integration and test.
Experience developing requirements and applicable traceability from the weapon system down to subsystems.
Experience with avionics integration testing and analysis tools (e.g. Matlab or others).

Typical Education:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
