Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Mid-Level NDT Quality Test Specialist for the Quality Team located in Jacksonville, Florida.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with non-destructive inspection or test techniques and certification training.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment.
• Develops procedures and processes.
• Performs tests or inspections and collects data.
• Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations.
• Provides feedback on adverse trends.
• Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products.
• Conducts certification preparation training.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test)
• Current Ultrasonic NDT Certification (Level 2) in a minimum of two of the following NDE disciplines: Magnetic Particle (MT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), Ultrasonic (UT), Radiography (RT), Eddy Current (ET), Infrared Thermography (IRT)
• 3+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Current Radiation Safety State Card or ASNT IRRSP
• ASNT NDT Level III Certified
• 3+ years of experience using Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)
• 3+ years of experience using Digital x-ray imagery systems
• Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
• DR/CR X-Ray experience and documented training
• MAUS experience (Mobile Automated Ultrasonic Scanner) portable c-scan system
• Gantry C-Scan experience (AUSS or Matec TTU systems)
• F-18 experience a plus
• P-8 experience a plus

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).
