The Boeing Company is seeking a Lead Electronic Systems Design & Analysis Engineer (level 4) As part of Boeing's Space Electronics division, you will lead and perform the design, analysis, manufacture, integration and testing of satellites. This position is located in El Segundo, CA.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead analysis of customer and system requirements and development of architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various electronic products.

  • Lead development of high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications.

  • Lead reviews of testing and analysis activity to assure compliance to requirements.

  • Validate designs through various methods of review, testing and analysis with emphasis on Power Supply and Analog Circuit Design.

  • Identify, track and status technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements.

  • Coordinate engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product.

  • Plan research projects to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.

  • Mentor lesser experienced engineers in your areas of expertise.

This position allows part time telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering field

  • Five (5) or more years' experience in engineering design and analysis

  • One (1) or more years of experience with power electronics and analog circuit design

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • M.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree

  • Nine (9) or more years of experience in Power Supply and Analog Circuit Design.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
