The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Information Technology Business Partner (ITBP) to join their team in Kent, Washington.

This position will require an expertise of enterprise architects and strategic initiatives such as Network Architecture, Cloud baseline, Web Technologies, Service Architectures and Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports, Develops and assists managing multiple, complex information technology (IT) project plans and deliverables
  • Provides input to determine complex project scope, schedule and budget baselines based on an understanding of the system development lifecycle
  • Works with ITBP(Information Technology Business Partner) Manager to negotiate changes to project baselines
  • Conducts design reviews
  • Helps manage the incorporation of quality management systems for IT projects
  • Helps monitor project deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Identifies and negotiates for necessary resources to meet project goals
  • Develops and executes project communication plans
  • Supports activities to identify project risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Identifies need for vendor-provided products and services
  • Coordinates with suppliers and oversees supplier activities
  • Effectively communicates with architects, management and other internal/external stakeholders
  • Works closely with a culturally and geographically diverse set of stakeholders

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience do you have in policies and implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • 1+ years of experience in architecting Enterprise-wide networking platforms
  • Ability to obtain security certifications such as Security+ or equivalent IAT Level 2 certifications per DoD Instruction 8570 (8140)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with PC Systems architecture (Ethernet switch networking and configuration)
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Gantt charts, resource load charts)
  • Experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
  • 1+ years of experience with Estimates at Completion, Data Analysis, and/or Budgeting/Cost Performance Reporting
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and developing architectural requirements or standards for Desktop, Collaboration, Mobility or Unified Communications
  • Experience developing executive level presentations, integrating technical & non-technical content, and utilizing appropriate technologies to facilitate integration/collaboration
  • Security+, a CISSP certification, or equivalent Cyber Security certification

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
