The Boeing Space and Launch team is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer located in El Segundo, CA.  The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.

Position Responsibilities Include:

• Supports the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.

• Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the integration of technical solutions across multiple disciplines.

• Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.

• Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans. Investigates technical problems.

• Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.

• Interfaces with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

• 1+ years of experience in Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite.

• 1+ years of experience in one or more of the following applications: Electronics Design, Circuit Card Assembly or Hi Rel Component Qualifications.

• 1+ years of experience developing innovative analog, power, and/or digital circuit design principles (e.g., frequency, voltage, thermal, bandwidth, mismatch) to design, simulate and layout circuit boards.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with using lab instruments such as DMMs, oscilloscopes and analyzers.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate across multiple disciplines with internal and external customers.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
