The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Government Satellite Systems Test Program Integrator to join the team in El Segundo, CA

Position Responsibilities:

  • Partner with program teammates and BT&E execution teams to meet affordability, safety, and quality goals

  • Helps lead the strategy / plan for a comprehensive virtual & physical integration and test architecture (for the government satellite programs)

  • Helps lead the strategy / plan for realizing a lean and efficient component qualification test capability (for all government Satellite programs)

  • Helps lead successful approach for integration and test across all program efforts:

    • Enable early engagement and test planning with business partners (front door for test and evaluation)

    • Provide test broker expertise (including benchmarking, cost analysis, and sourcing)

    • Provide modular, multi-purpose, multi-component solutions for critical path testing

    • Provide multi-site, multi-product line integrated processes, capabilities aligned to BT&E Product Test Life Cycle and Lab Excellence

    • Enable common, re-usable qualification and production test methods

    • Drive commonality for DoD-related efforts where possible

    • Lead global access to talent and core competency test and evaluation capability

  • Leads efforts to ensure an integrated, optimized test capital and assets management plans for satellite systems

  • Partners with lab test value stream, lab test operations and engineering capability leaders within BT&E in addition to Boeing program managers, suppliers and customers to execute test programs and meet commitments

  • Accountability of execution throughout the entire BT&E product test life cycle for all BT&E teams

  • Working Boeing Satellite Systems Programs

  • Representative for T&E across all phases of the program beginning with the development of the T&E strategy and test program plan

  • Influential consultant on Boeing Satellite Systems T&E program including: Statement of Work (SOW), EVM, Change

  • Management, risk issues and opportunities (RIO) and related processes as applicable

  • Guiding test program work statement, commitments, and performance including scope, cost, schedules, implementation of the test and evaluation requirements and their design solutions, safe operations during all phases of the test program and BT&E’s overall performance to plan

  • The BT&E Satellite Systems TPI shall embrace/implement Analytics to drive overall improvement across the PTLC (Product Test Life Cycle)

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience managing projects across costs, schedule, quality, and technical

  • Experience working with cross functional teams

  • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in Lab Management

  • Experience supporting projects or programs utilizing Earned Value management and Risk, Issues and Opportunity (RIO) management to drive program performance

  • Experience in Test Management

  • Earned Value Management experience

  • Experience working across multiple programs

  • Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management)

  • Strong leadership performance managing complex organization

  • Experience working, networking & teaming with government, industry partners & business partners

  • Knowledgeable in Program Management Best Practices, Earned Value Management

  • Knowledgeable in finance, scheduling and quality data harvesting and integration

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
