The Boeing Company’s Human Resources (HR) function is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join their team in Ridley Park, PA.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, inclusive team aimed at shaping the future of HR at Boeing to drive business value, a best-in-class employee experience and effective delivery of HR programs, services and support in the following key areas:

These positions will work closely with other key groups in the Human Resources (HR) organization, namely HRG’s dedicated to Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Operations and Total Quality, the specialized HR Centers of Excellence (COE’s) and the HR Services groups to deliver high quality, seamlessly integrated operational HR support for the business, the employees and managers. The team will be responsible for not only delivering HR products and services but also ‘on the floor’ interactions and interfacing with employees and managers in person to improve the employee experience.  The majority of support to the business will be on site with our leaders and teams however flexible work arrangements on an as-needed basis will be considered. 


Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide visible HR presence where our employees work to enable real time engagement and solutions

  • Contribute to the development of a culture of equity, diversity and inclusion where employee experience is at the center of HR service delivery

  • Aid in supporting the delivery of key HR processes (e.g. performance support, employee movement, leadership coaching, etc.)

  • Work closely with HR COE’s to provide input for the design of HR programs in specific areas (e.g., labor relations, talent, compensation, training), and to support the delivery of programs

  • Utilize HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand effectiveness of support provided

  • Support the continuing transformation of HR via HR process implementation and the continuous technological improvements in Workday  

  • Develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation

  • Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives

  • Serve as subject matter expert on majority of HR products and services

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Flexible work arrangements on an as-needed basis will be considered. 

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes

  • 5+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding

  • 5+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions

  • 5+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement

  • 5+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Human Resources certification

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams either formally or informally in a Human Resources role

  • Collaboration across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrated final product

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, high-impact communication style

Typical Education & Experience:
Typically 15 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience.  Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $95,130 - $176,670
