Boeing has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Communications Specialist to join the Commercial Airplanes Communication team in Renton, WA and help us tell our story. The role will be responsible for promoting Commercial Airplanes products across the region, working in close partnership with our airline customers and building and maintaining relationships with reporters and influencers across North America. The role is focused on reaching internal and external audiences, working closely with relevant business partners to both plan and execute on communications goals and priorities. Position Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive Communications plan to support Boeing Commercial Airplanes business objectives Develop and disseminate Boeing news and messaging in the region, editing, production and distribution of news releases, social posts and other digital materials Produce compelling content for appropriate channels and target audiences to drive preference for Boeing’s commercial airplanes and services and positively impact the company’s results or employee engagement Manage emergent issues to protect Boeing’s reputation and enhance the company’s brand Establish, maintain and strengthen professional relationships with communications counterparts at airlines Work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders Manage a regional budget and regularly review progress and agree plan-shifts as appropriate
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 10+ years of experience applying verbal and written communication skills including spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style, proof reading and editing skills 10+ years of experience with Microsoft office suite 10+ years of experience influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and partnerships across functions 10+ years of experience working in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines Ability to work independently and with a cross-functional team Willing and able to travel 10% of the time domestically and internationally

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.). Relocation:
