We are seeking a Mid-Level Facilities Technical Designer (level 3), to join our team located in Tukwila, Washington. You will be working with a dynamic design team supporting design efforts for building infrastructure.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepares design drawings and construction documents

  • Prepares design criteria and specifications, defines asset requirements, administers configuration of asset documents, develops work packages and drafts statements of work

  • Creates, acquires, modifies, supports and disposes of commercial equipment, multiple systems and/or subsystems assets

  • Researches and applies code requirements

  • Coordinates the routine commissioning of a new or modified asset

  • Drafts routine project management plans

  • Supports root cause analysis activities

  • Experience managing multiple projects and understands project management best practices related to PMP Certification (i.e. Agile or PMBOK methodologies)

  • Knowledgeable on industry standards including OSHA, CMAA, and ASME

  • Work in a cross functional team alongside manufacturing, quality, safety, services, suppliers and vendors

  • Ensure compliance with safety, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements

  • Update ACAD systems and drawings

  • Leads interpretation and analysis of inspection data

  • Leads the tracking of contractual performance milestones related to architectural configuration of site drawings, assist in development of preventative maintenance and spares plans, assists with production readiness planning

  • ConTraining on ACAD systems

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience using AutoCAD or a similar software

  • 1+ year of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

?Preferred Qualification (Preferred Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience training others

  • 3+ years of experience performing data analysis

  • 3+ years in experience in Facilities Operations or Facilities Management?

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
