We are seeking a Mid-Level Facilities Planner (Level 3) to join our Facilities and Asset Management organization. This position is located in Hazelwood, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for critical planning activity to include production, lab and test operations, and program support.

This highly visible position provides the opportunity to partner with program and site leadership as well as contribute to a variety of diverse Boeing programs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Solicits headcount projections and business plans to enable forecasting for company space and facility requirements

  • Develops scopes, schedule, budget, and provides status reviews

  • Establishes key milestones and identifies potential opportunities, risks and issues

  • Develops proposals for customers & facilitates approval of the implementation plan to management

  • Coordinates, maintains and provides information to update use and occupancy tracking system to identify cost and space allocation to the tenant

  • Compiles and analyzes data for business initiatives and team activities

  • Leads and analyzes site studies/business scenarios and strategies to develop proposals and plans

  • Performs regional integration and site analysis, evaluate site capabilities, manufacturing processes and technology forecasts and incorporate these into asset use strategies

  • Interacts with internal organizations and senior level management to identify and assess impact to the business operating plan

  • Creates facilities plans

  • Works with partners and assesses resources to create the best value for the customer and the Company

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 3 years of experience partnering & working with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

  • More than 1 year of experience creating and/or implementing site facilities plans

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Experience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • More than 5 years of experience in facilities planning

  • More than 5 years of experience with project management and standard project management tools

  • More than 3 years of experience developing long range business plans

  • More than 3 year of experience developing & presenting recommendations to executive level management

  • More than 3 years of experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD program

  • Active U.S Security clearance

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master + 4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:
