The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization, Space and Launch Division is seeking Associate Systems Analyst (Level 2) to join our team in Kihei, HI to support the configuration management of electro-optical systems for the Research Advance Space Superiority Technology and Engineering (RASTER) Program. 

Position Overview:

The Associate Systems Analyst will be a part of a high-performing team that are immersed in focused development projects. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with extraordinary telescopes, lasers, sensors, and optical systems at the Air Force Maui Optical and Super-computing Site (AMOS). This position will focus on systems engineering and configuration management of operational systems as well as risk management.  This role will include running the Engineering Review Board and Configuration Control Board for the AMOS site.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Configuration Management.

  • Risk Management.

  • Support Systems Engineering group.

  • Records Management.

  • Support on-going test and projects as needed.

Work Authorization:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.  (An interim and/or final U.S. confidential clearance Post Start is required).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1 year or more working closely with engineering fields in an integrated team environment.

  • 1 year or more of experience with systems engineering.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

  • 1 year or more of experience with Configuration Management.

  • 1 year or more of experience with Autodesk Vault.

  • 1 year or more of experience with Electro Optics.

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
