Boeing Data Analytics Product Management is looking for a Manager, Product Management and Design to lead product managers and product designers.

This position can be filled from several major Boeing work locations and offers hybrid work arrangements; most work can be performed virtually with occasional days in office from posted locations. In AZ, IL, MO, OK, SC, TX, VA

As a member of the management team for Data Analytics Product Management, you will have the opportunity to shape the transition of the Data Analytics organization to from project-based work to products. You will collaborate to develop and implement product management processes that enable continuous delivery of innovative analytics products, solving the highest value problems for the company. You will lead our efforts to develop a premier product design team, ensuring that our product teams have the skills they need to develop desirable and usable products.

Your highest priority will be to ensure your team has what they need to enable Data Analytics product teams by setting the direction and vision for the Product Management & Design team, breaking down roadblocks, creating context & clarity, supporting career development, supplying useful feedback, and hiring great candidates.

The successful candidate will have the ability to navigate organizational patterns and relationships, be a collaborator, and be adept at mentoring and developing talent.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and motivate a team of product managers to define, develop, and launch high-value analytics products
  • Define and implement product management and product design processes and cadences with product teams and business partners based on industry standard methodologies
  • Measure product outcomes to inform product roadmaps and feature decisions
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with customers, peers, and employees
  • Lead the team of designers to develop common product design standards, frameworks, and resources
  • Be a great people manager, creating an expansive and empowered team

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience leading complex critical initiatives and product development involving multiple partners across various business units, organizations, and/or geographies.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship management abilities
  • Familiarity with Agile product development
  • Familiarity with UX design processes and standards
  • Consistent track record to launch technology products and features that delight users

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience leading OKR or other organizational goal setting & measuring processes
  • Experience in product marketing, product content creation, and/or facilitating market research
  • Experience building cases and identifying the value of the targeted solution
  • Experience working as part of a large, geographically dispersed team

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
