Job Duties:

Participate in full software development lifecycle. Develop software unit tests and automated functional tests and develop backend applications in Java. Review and approve software requirements.  Support software architects as they create software architecture documentation.  Participate in architecture reviews.  Participate in software design sessions and create software design documentation.  Conduct software design reviews.  Review and approve software design documentation created by team members.  Implement software according to approved requirements, design, and architecture documentation.  Ensure software is unit tested.  Perform peer code reviews to ensure software is correct and compliant with both internal and DO200 standards.  Work closely with software testers to automate test execution. Review and approve software test cases.  Provide support for FAA audits. Provide support for production applications.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week,

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience.  

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

• Developing software unit tests and automated functional testing

• Developing backend applications in Java

• Utilizing Agile development processes

Travel required up to 10%.
