The Boeing Company is looking for a General Repair Technician Level C in St. Charles, Missouri. The St Charles, Missouri Weapons Program is seeking an Experienced Circuit Card Technician to test, troubleshoot and repair Harpoon and SLAM electronic components.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintains equipment and systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components
  • Troubleshoots problems to isolate faulty components
  • Conducts complex functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment
  • Performs a variety of inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents
  • Documents maintenance and inspection actions as required
  • Trains and resolves problems for less experienced technicians
  • Works under general direction

This Position is for 1st shift

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic/Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience working in aerospace industry
  • 1+ years’ experience with Radar Operation and Radar Repair
  • 3+ years’ Automatic Test Station Repair and Alignment
  • 3+ years’ Electronic Troubleshooting and Electronic Fault Isolation
  • Must have Component Soldering experience
  • Must be able to read Electronic Schematic Diagrams
  • Experience constructing wire harnesses and panels by cutting, sorting, color coding, measuring, stripping, crimping, soldering and routing various lengths, types and gages of wire, heat shrink and other related materials

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Be able to coordinate calibration equipment maintainability
  • Military training in electronics and/or avionics
  • Active Secret clearance or higher

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.

Relocation

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
