Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), Oklahoma City, is seeking several talented , dedicated and innovative Associate Systems Engineers (Level 2) to join our Bombers or Mobility & Surveillance Engineering teams. Our teams work with customers to develop integrated solutions to enhance capabilities and performance across multiple existing platforms. The candidate(s) will be a member of dynamic and diverse Systems Engineering Boeing team. Responsibilities include but not limited to developing system architectures; performing technical analyses; analyzing customer inputs to define system requirements, performing functional development/modeling of the system behavior; conducting functional, performance, and environmental testing; developing verification and certification artifacts and interfacing with other members of the project or program teams, management, sales and marketing staff, customers and suppliers to meet group, organization and company objectives. Works under general supervision. This position is located in Oklahoma City. Basic Qualifications Bachelors, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry 2 or more years of Systems Engineering experience This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). Other Important Information Shift Type: Full-Time, First Shift Ability to Work Remotely: Employees are expected to work in office primarily full-time. On a case-by-case basis, employees may be able to work remotely part-time. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedule Oklahoma City has a 9/80 work schedule. Every other Friday is an off day. Clearance Requirement This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Clearance Level An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required Relocation This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
