Position Summary: Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for a Configuration and Data Management practitioner to join the Product Life Cycle Management team located in El-Segundo, California. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in Configuration and Data Management along with familiarity with monitoring program Contractual Data Requirements, establish program baseline, support Engineering Change Control, maintain databases and perform audits. Position Responsibilities: Administrate the Program Engineering Review Board (ERB) and the Change Control Board (CCB), and maintain Agenda and minutes. Process program Change packages and Engineering Change Requests. Perform and oversee Engineering Release of parts and documents into PDM tool. Monitor and perform Data Management tasks, including program Contractual Data release and deliveries
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program. Basic Qualifications: Prior experience with Configuration Management in processes and practices Experience managing Engineering Change Boards Experience with Engineering Releases Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications: Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.). Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
