The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Management Specialist within the Missiles and Weapons System Division located in Saint Charles, MO.

This position will report to the Manager of International New Business.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the successful global marketing of Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM), Small Diameter Bomb (SDB), Harpoon, Standoff Land Attack Missile Expanded Response (SLAM ER) and derivative products.

  • Leads multiple campaigns and initiatives, while working closely with a team of peers to cover all global business opportunities for Boeing’s weapon export business.

  • Helps to ensure that the weapons team has the right product offered to the global market at the right time and at a price that is both executable and meets customer budget constraints

  • Maintains direct interface with domestic and international customers and helps the team in maintaining relationships and communication with US and international government agencies, shipyards, suppliers, consultants and trading companies.

  • Understands customer requirements, program vision and establishes and maintains a strong customer relationship.

  • Works directly with the core weapon programs, program development teams, and production teams to create business strategies and assist with timely and efficient program execution.

  • Works closely with the Boeing Weapons international execution team and program elements to ensure we maintain high quality and high customer satisfaction.

  • Directs formal proposal development to meet both Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales opportunities (DCS).

  • Coordinates closely with the Boeing Defense headquarters to work with various United States Government (USG) security cooperation, international relations, and export policy offices as well as international embassy officials.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience delivering presentations for complex ideas and integrated campaigns

  • 5+ years of experience directly managing customer relationships as the primary point of contact

  • 5+ years of experience working with the foreign military sales (FMS) and direct commercial sales (DCS) process

  • 5+ years of experience working with Foreign Government acquisition processes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in weapons and missile systems

  • 5+ years of experience working with international customers and suppliers

  • 5+ years of experience leading cross functional teams

  • 5+ years of work or military experience

Typical Education/Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidate must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
