The Boeing Company is seeking an Entry Level Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer. As part of Boeing's Space Electronics division, you will perform the analysis, basic assembly, and testing of electronics for satellites. This position is located in El Segundo, CA. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze state-of-the art power and analog electronics for space-based applications.
  • Duties will include circuit design, requirements and interface definition, modeling and analysis, testing, performance and design verification.
  • Perform Technical support for production and test of space-qualified electronics.
  • Support the implementation of microcontrollers into analog & power supply designs and creation of the associated firmware.
  • Validate designs through various methods of review, testing and analysis with emphasis on Power Supply and Analog Circuit Design.
  • Identify, track and status technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Provide engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product.
  • Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs and design/analysis processes to meet projected requirements.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): ?

  • Bachelor's Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science mathematics, physics or chemistry by June 2022
  • Experience with Analog and/or power electronics

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):  

  • Experience in designing controls systems
  • Experience with power conditioning
  • Classroom or work related experience with electrical circuit design and electrical schematic analysis
  • Hands-on lab experience with power/analog electronics testing or test methodology

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Basic relocation is available for internal candidates.
